Personalized baptism paper plates for the christening table

Heavyweight paper plates printed with the child's name and the date, in the same artwork as the napkins and the favor labels. The lunch after the service is usually at home or in a hall borrowed for the afternoon, and the plates are what stop it looking improvised.

Crosses, wreaths, eucalyptus and simple script in cream, sage, ivory and dusty blue. Dinner plates at 9 inches for the meal, dessert plates at 7 inches for cake and the children's table.

The full set

Twenty designs exist as napkin, plate and favor label in identical artwork. It is the most complete matching family we print, and ordering all three means the table, the buffet and the favors genuinely match rather than nearly match.

How ordering works

Choose a size and quantity, from 8 plates to 800, give us the child's name and the date, and we design it. A free digital proof comes before printing, and it is worth checking the spelling there. U.S. orders over $75 ship free.

Baptism plate questions

How many plates do I need?

One dinner plate per guest for the meal, plus one to two dessert plates each for cake. For 40 guests, 40 dinner and 40 to 80 dessert plates. Orders start at 8 plates.

What size are they?

Dessert plates are 7 inches, dinner plates are 9 inches. The 9 inch holds a full serving without food reaching the printed rim, which is where the design shows.

Can you microwave paper plates?

Not these. The print and coating are not made for heat, so warm food on ceramic and serve on these. That includes reheating the leftovers afterwards.

Do the plates match the napkins exactly?

Yes, in this collection. The same artwork is set for each shape rather than scaled, so the plate, the napkin and the label share a design instead of resembling one another.

Can I use these for a first communion?

Yes. Communion, confirmation and dedication use the same designs with the wording changed. Say which occasion when you order and we set it correctly.

How far ahead should I order?

Three to four weeks. Baptism dates are set well in advance, and the extra time gives you a second look at the spelling of the name before it prints on eighty plates.
