A number in gold foil on a dark background is the strongest milestone design we print. Underneath it there is room for a line: est. 1976, or something less printable that the room will appreciate.

Birthday coaster questions

How many do I need?

One to two per guest. For 40 guests, 50 to 75. If the party is at home and spread across several rooms, order at the top of that range, because coasters travel and do not come back.

How big are they and what are they made of?

Thick absorbent pulpboard, the stock bars use, sized to sit under a standard glass. They take the condensation rather than letting it reach a wooden table.

Foil or standard print?

Foil for a milestone number, especially gold on black or on a deep color, because the number is the whole design. Standard print for a photograph or anything with more than one color.

Can I put a photo on a coaster?

Yes, and it works better here than on a napkin because nothing gets folded. Send a clear, well-lit photograph; a single face reads best at this size.

Do they come in a set of four?

No. These are printed by quantity from 50 upward, which is how you cover a party rather than a coffee table. They are single use rather than a set you keep.
