Matching baptism plates and napkins

The plate and the napkin printed in the same artwork, with the child's name and the date on both. Buying them separately and hoping the greens line up is how a table ends up nearly matching, which is worse than not matching at all.

Crosses, doves, wreaths, eucalyptus and simple script in cream, sage, ivory and dusty blue. Twenty designs exist in this collection, each one set for the plate and for the napkin rather than scaled between them.

What goes on the table

Nine inch dinner plates for the lunch after the service, seven inch dessert plates for the cake, and napkins in cocktail, luncheon or guest towel size. Most people order dinner plates and cocktail napkins, then add dessert plates for the children's table.

Complete the set

Pick your sizes and quantities, give us the name and the date, and we design it. A free digital proof comes within 24 hours and it is worth checking the spelling of the name there. Production is 3 to 4 business days after you approve. U.S. orders over $75 ship free.

Baptism plates and napkins questions

Do the plates and napkins really match?

Yes. The same artwork is set separately for the round plate and the square napkin instead of being stretched to fit, so the two pieces share a design rather than resembling one another.

How many of each do I need?

One dinner plate and two napkins per guest is the usual count, plus dessert plates if there is cake. For 40 guests that is 40 dinner plates, 80 napkins and 40 dessert plates.

Can I order plates and napkins in different quantities?

Yes. They are separate products with their own quantity ladders, so you can order 50 plates and 100 napkins in the same design. Add each one to the cart and the bundle discount applies automatically.

Can I add matching favor labels?

Yes. All twenty designs in this collection also print as round 1.5 inch or square 2 inch favor labels, in the same artwork.

Does this work for a first communion?

Yes. Communion, confirmation and dedication use the same designs with the wording changed. Say which occasion when you order.

How far ahead should I order?

Three to four weeks. Baptism dates are set well in advance, and the extra time gives you a second look at the name before it prints on eighty pieces.
