Everything we make is designed, proofed and printed just for you, then shipped from our print partner in Mankato, Minnesota. Here's how long each step takes, what faster options cost, and how to work back from your party date.

Production time
Production starts once you approve your proof, and it's counted in business days. The day you approve doesn't count, and neither do weekends or US public holidays.

Ordering more than one kind of product? Your order ships together, so the longest production time in your order applies to all of it.
Shipping options and costs
Delivery time starts once your order has been produced and handed to UPS. Faster options cost the upgrade price on top of standard shipping, so on orders of $75 or more, where standard shipping is free, you only pay the upgrade.

Alaska and Hawaii: a $25 surcharge per order applies to every shipping option, and Third-Day Delivery isn't available.

Add up to a day for your proof on top of this: you'll have it within 24 hours of ordering, or usually within 30 minutes if you order before 3:00 pm Central Time and tell us you're in a hurry.
UPS Ground time by state
Standard orders travel by UPS Ground from Mankato, Minnesota. These times are a good guide, though UPS doesn't guarantee them.

Planning around your date
How do I work back from my party date?
Start from the day your parcel needs to arrive, count back the longest time in the range, and skip weekends and holidays. That's the day to approve your proof by. Give yourself one more day before that for the proof itself.
An example. Your party is on Saturday October 24, 2026 in Texas, you're ordering napkins, and they need to arrive by Friday October 23:

When should I order?
Two to three weeks before your event is comfortable. It leaves room for your proof, any changes, production and delivery without anyone watching the calendar. For a large order, a full event set or anything around Thanksgiving and Christmas, give yourself a little more.
If your party is sooner than that, please don't assume it's too late. Between Rush Production and a faster shipping option we can often move a lot quicker. Email us before you order and we'll check your date with you.
Is there a daily cut-off time?
Yes. Proofs approved before 3:00 pm Central Time (Minnesota time) on a business day go to production that day. Anything later moves to the next business day.
Which days count as business days?
Monday to Friday. The day you approve your proof doesn't count, and Saturdays, Sundays and US public holidays don't count either. That includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It also means Rush Production never ships the same day.
Proofs and rush
When does my order go into production?
As soon as you approve your proof. You'll get it by email within 24 hours of ordering, weekends included. Nothing is printed until you've said yes, so the faster you reply, the sooner your order ships. If you'd like changes, send them all in one go, because every extra round moves the start date.
Can I get my proof faster?
Yes. If you're in a hurry, order before 3:00 pm Central Time and email us at info@yourpartydetails.com with your order number straight after. We can usually send your proof within 30 minutes. Approve it the same day before 3:00 pm Central Time and production starts that day.
How does Rush Production work?
Rush cuts production to 1 to 2 business days. It's $25 per order, however many items are in it, and you add it on the product page when you choose your production time.
- It's available for napkins (including foil), can coolers, coasters and stickers.
- It isn't available for paper plates or signs. If your order includes either of those, rush isn't possible for the order as a whole.
- Rush covers production only. For a tight date, pair it with Third-Day, Second-Day or Next-Day Delivery.
Shipping and delivery
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
Third-Day, Second-Day and Next-Day Delivery are guaranteed delivery times once your order has shipped. Delays can still happen in situations outside anyone's control, such as severe weather.
UPS Ground times are an indication rather than a guarantee. Weather, holidays and busy periods can slow them down, and UPS usually doesn't deliver on US public holidays. If your date can't move, choose one of the faster options.
Where do you ship?
To the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. We don't ship to other countries.
Standard shipping to Canada takes 5 to 10 business days after production, and the cost for your order is shown at checkout. Any import duties or taxes are set by Canada, aren't included in what you pay us, and are payable on delivery.
Can you ship to a PO box?
We ship with UPS, which can't deliver to PO boxes. Please use a street address.
Will everything arrive in one parcel?
Usually, yes. We send your order together, which is why the longest production time in your order applies. Larger orders can occasionally be split across parcels; you'll get tracking for each.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You'll get an email with a tracking link as soon as your order ships. If it hasn't arrived within a day of your shipping confirmation, check your spam folder and then email us at info@yourpartydetails.com.
What if I entered the wrong address?
Email us at info@yourpartydetails.com the moment you spot it. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll correct it free of charge. Once it has shipped, we can't recall or redirect it, so please double-check your address when you order.
My tracking says delivered, but there's no parcel.
It usually turns up. Check with everyone in the house, look in porches and safe spots, and ask your neighbours, because carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered a day early. Still missing after 2 business days? Email us with your order number and we'll open an investigation with UPS.
My order arrived damaged.
Email us at info@yourpartydetails.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged items and the outer packaging. We'll reprint or refund the damaged pieces. Our Returns & Refunds page has the full detail.
