Personalized Christmas napkins for the holiday table

Christmas napkins printed with your family name and the year, a seasonal greeting, or the dog in a Santa hat. December is a month of hosting rather than a single dinner, and a napkin with your name on it does the same work at the cookie exchange, on Christmas Eve and at the office party.

Classic red and green, or the quieter side of the season: cream, sage, gold foil, buffalo plaid, nutcrackers, poinsettia, a single pine sprig. Christmas tree designs are the most requested pattern we print all year.

Print the year, keep the design

Adding the year turns a napkin into something people keep. Families who order these tend to reorder the same design every December with the number changed, which quietly becomes a tradition rather than a purchase.

The same artwork goes on Christmas paper plates, coasters and gift labels, so the whole table matches instead of nearly matching.

How ordering works

Choose a size and quantity, tell us the family name, the year and any wording, and we design it. A free digital proof comes by email before we print, and changes at that stage cost nothing. U.S. orders over $75 ship free.

Christmas napkin questions

When should I order Christmas napkins?

October or early November. December production fills up, and every year we speak to someone who wanted the family name on the table for Christmas Eve and left it until the second week of the month. Order once, use them across the whole season.

How many Christmas napkins do I need?

Two to three cocktail napkins per guest for drinks and dessert, one to two dinner napkins per guest for the meal. For 20 at the table, 40 to 60 cocktail napkins and 20 to 40 dinner napkins. December hosts several events, so buy for the month rather than the night.

Which size for Christmas dinner?

Dinner size, 6.5 x 6.5 inches, for the meal itself, where the napkin sits under the cutlery. Cocktail size for the drinks table, dessert and every other party in December. Most households order both and get through the cocktail ones fastest.

Can I put our family name and the year on them?

Yes, and it is the most ordered layout: the surname in script with the year beneath. We can also set The Miller Family Christmas, an address, or a line from a carol. Send the wording and you will see it on the proof.

Can you print our pet on a Christmas napkin?

Yes. Send a clear photograph and we will draw or place your dog or cat, hat included if you want one. It is one of our most-loved December designs and makes an easy gift for the person hosting.

How do I fold them for a Christmas table?

For dinner napkins, a simple rectangle under the fork or a fold with the printed corner turned up reads best. The Christmas tree fold is popular but hides most of the design, so if the napkin is personalized, keep the fold plain and let the print show.
