Pet coasters with your dog or cat on them
Coasters with the animal drawn from your photograph, printed on thick absorbent pulpboard. Of everything we put a pet portrait on, this is the one that works best, because a coaster is flat, square and held still, so the drawing is looked at properly rather than glanced at and folded.
Ears, markings, the particular expression. Add the name underneath and you have something people keep on the side table long after the party it was ordered for.
The rest of the set
The same portrait carries onto pet napkins, can coolers and bar signs. For weddings, see pet wedding favors.
How ordering works
Choose standard print, pick a quantity from 50 to 300, and upload the photo. We draw the portrait and email a free digital proof, then redraw at no cost if the likeness is off. U.S. orders over $75 ship free.
Pet coaster questions
What photo do you need?
Daylight, in focus, taken at the animal's eye level with the whole head and both ears in frame. A coaster prints the drawing larger than a napkin does, so a sharp photo matters more here.
What if it does not look like my dog?
Tell us on the proof and we redraw it, free. Nothing prints until the likeness is right. Mention the markings you care about, because those are the ones people notice.
Can you draw two pets?
Yes. A coaster is square, so two side by side works comfortably. Send a separate photo of each animal rather than one group shot.
How many should I order?
One to two per guest for a party, from 50 upward. If they are a gift rather than an event order, 50 is plenty and they last a long time on a side table.
Foil or standard print?
Standard print for the portrait, since foil presses in a single tone and a drawing needs more than that. We can foil the name underneath and print the animal in color.
How long does it take?
Longer than a text design, because a person draws it first. Two to three weeks ahead of an event, and closer to two months for a wedding.
