Custom cat napkins, drawn from your photo
Napkins with your cat on them. Send a photograph and we illustrate the cat onto the design: the markings, the ear set, the particular expression that says the photograph was taken against its wishes.
Tabbies, tuxedos, gingers, a black cat with one white whisker, three of them in a row. Printed on soft 3-ply napkins in cocktail, dinner or guest towel size, in whatever colors you want behind them.
Where they go
Birthdays for people who talk about their cat more than their job, Christmas, housewarmings, and weddings where the cat was never going to be invited to the venue anyway. Also, with some regularity, parties thrown for the cat itself.
See also dog napkins, pet coasters and everything together in custom pet napkins.
How ordering works
Choose a design, size and quantity, upload the photo, and we draw it. A free digital proof comes by email and we redraw at no cost if the likeness is not right. U.S. orders over $75 ship free.
Cat napkin questions
What photo works best?
Daylight, in focus, taken at the cat's eye level with the whole head and both ears in frame. Cats are harder to photograph than dogs, so take several and send the sharpest rather than the cutest.
Will it look like my cat?
That is what the proof is for. Tell us about the markings that matter, a white bib, a split face, one folded ear, and check the drawing before printing. Revisions then are free.
Can you draw more than one cat?
Yes. Two side by side is common and three still reads at cocktail size. Send an individual photo of each rather than one picture of all of them, which no cat has ever cooperated with anyway.
How many napkins should I order?
Two to three cocktail napkins per guest, from a minimum of 50. Order extra: pet napkins leave a party in people's pockets more than any other design we print.
Foil or standard print?
Standard print for the portrait, since foil presses in one metallic tone and a drawing needs more. We can foil the cat's name and print the illustration in full color.
How long does it take?
Longer than a text design, because a person draws it first. Two to three weeks ahead of the event is comfortable.
