Paper or foam board, and which size?

Your sign comes in two materials. The difference is how sturdy you want it.

Paper is a heavyweight art print. It is thin and flexible, so it is made to slide into a frame, your own or one from the venue.

Foam board is the same print mounted on a light, rigid board. It stays perfectly flat and stands on an easel by itself, no frame needed.

Choose the material first, then the size. These are the sizes for each:

Read while standing at the table: 8x12 to 12x18 is plenty. Read across a room: go 18x24 or larger, or nobody will bother.

Already have a frame, or want to pick one yourself? Paper is the one. Going straight onto an easel at the venue? Choose foam board, it stays flat and does not need a frame. Frames and easels are not included with either.

Will the sign sit next to ice all evening? An acrylic or pedestal sign handles a wet bar top better than paper or foam.

Paper or foam board

Paper is the flexible one: heavyweight art paper, unframed, in 8 x 12, 11 x 14, 12 x 18, 18 x 24, 20 x 30 or 24 x 36 inches, so you can drop it into a frame you already own. Foam board is rigid and self-supporting, in 11 x 14, 12 x 18, 16 x 20, 18 x 24 or 24 x 36 inches, for an easel at the entrance or behind a bar.

Ordering more for the same event? We carry the same artwork across napkins, coasters and can coolers so the whole bar matches.
