Upload Your Logo / Photo
If you already have artwork, like a logo, a monogram, a photo of your dog or an illustration from your invitation designer, you can upload it on the product page and we will place it for you. This page covers what to send, what works and what to do if you do not have a file at all.
Where to upload
Product pages that accept a file have an upload field in the personalization section, marked Image or Upload your file. Choose your size and quantity first, then upload before adding to the cart.
One file per field. If you have three pets, or a logo and a separate photo, upload the first and email the rest to info@yourpartydetails.com with your order number and we will attach them by hand.
File types we accept
- Photos and images: JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC (straight from an iPhone is fine)
- Design files: PDF, AI, PSD on plates and labels
Maximum 20 MB per file. If your designer sent you something enormous, email it instead and we will take it from there.
Uploading a logo
Send the best version you have
A vector file (AI, EPS or a vector PDF) is ideal, because it prints crisply at any size. If all you have is the PNG from your website header, send that and we will tell you honestly whether it will hold up. Small web logos usually can be redrawn; we do that at no charge.
Transparent backgrounds print better
A PNG with a transparent background sits on any napkin color. A JPG carries a white box around it, which shows on a colored napkin. If you only have the JPG, we can cut it out for you. Just say so.
Simple logos foil beautifully
Foil presses one metallic color, so a one-color logo, a wordmark or a clean icon is perfect for it. A logo with gradients, photographic elements or five colors wants full color printing instead. Not sure which yours is? Send it and we will tell you.
Tell us how you want it placed
Logo alone, or logo above a line of text? Centered, or in a corner? Large, or discreet? Put it in the special requests box. If you leave it to us we will centre it and keep it modest, which is the safe default but not always what you wanted.

What makes a photo print well
- Clear and well lit. Daylight beats flash. Shade beats direct sun.
- Reasonably large. Around 1000 pixels on the shortest side is a comfortable minimum. Straight from a phone camera is plenty; a screenshot of an Instagram post is not.
- The subject fills the frame. A face or a pet taking up most of the photo prints far better than one standing across a field.
- Not already filtered. Heavy filters and beauty modes flatten the detail we need.
Pets
Our most-ordered custom work, and the one we enjoy most. A straight-on shot at the animal's eye level, in daylight, with the ears and the face clearly visible. Dark dogs and black cats need more light than you think, so outdoors in the shade is usually the answer. If your dog has one ear that flops and it matters to you, say so, because we will draw it faithfully either way but it helps to know it is the point.
People
The same rules, plus one: tell us who is who. On a photo with several people it is not always obvious which face belongs on the napkin.
What we do with it
We clean it up, place it into the design and send you a proof within about 24 hours. Depending on what you have asked for, that might mean cutting out a background, redrawing a low-resolution logo, converting a photo into a line illustration, or matching your file's colors to a foil or ink we actually stock.
All of that is included. There is no artwork fee, no set-up fee and no charge for revisions.
No file? That is fine too
Most custom orders start as a description rather than a file. Write what you have in mind in the special requests box (the theme, the colors, the feeling, a link to something you saw) and we will design it and send you a proof. See the custom design page for how that works.
One thing we cannot do
We cannot print artwork you do not have the right to use. Characters, brand logos that are not yours, stock images with a watermark, an illustration lifted from someone's shop. If you are not sure whether something counts, ask us before you order and we will find a way to get you the same feeling legitimately.
Questions about a specific file? Email it to info@yourpartydetails.com before you order and we will look at it and tell you what it can do.
