Plate size
Quantity

Which plate size?

Two sizes, and the difference is simply what ends up on them.

Dessert · 7 inches
Cake, appetizers, pizza, small hands
Dinner · 9 inches
A full plate of food, gravy included

Serving a meal and a dessert? That is two plates per guest, and they do not have to be the same size. A 9 inch plate under the main course and a 7 inch beside the cake reads as intentional rather than as running out.

One rule for every printed plate, ours included: serve on paper, reheat on ceramic.

See every size we print

How many plates do I need?

One per guest per course, and dessert counts as a course of its own.

Seated meal
1 per guest, per course
Buffet
1 per guest, plus 20% spare
Dessert or cake table
1 per guest
Children at the party
2 per child

We print from 8 to 800 plates. Add a fifth on top for the plate that gets bent, dropped, or picked up by the guest coming back for seconds.

Made for the photos

The plate every guest photographs

A plate with your own dog in a ghost costume turns the food table into a moment. Guests spot it under the cake, take a photo, and it lands in their stories the same night. It is the most personal thing on the table, and the one thing nobody else at the party could have bought.

  • Instantly shareable at the food table
  • The thing guests ask about all night
  • Matches your pet napkins in the same design

Your pet, their name, your colors

Upload your photo and we put your pet, cat, dog or any other animal, into the design. Add their name and the date, then pick your plate size, plate color and ink. More than one pet is no problem, just upload a photo of each.

  • Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, anything with a face
  • Their name and your date, in a font you choose
  • One pet or several, on the same plate

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

You upload your pet's photo and details right here as you place your order, before you check out. After that we create your design and email you a free digital proof to approve before we print.

A clear, well-lit photo where you can see their face straight on, taken close enough that we can see the markings. Daylight beats flash. If you are unsure, send it over before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can work with it.

Absolutely. Dogs, cats or any other pet, whether that is a bunny, a bird or even a snake, and more than one is no problem. Just upload a photo of each and let us know their names.

No. Leave the Date field empty and the date will not appear on your plates. Want to be certain, or already typed something? Write no date in Special requests and we will leave it off. You will see it either way on your free proof before anything prints, so nothing is final until you say so. Ordering a large quantity? Many hosts leave the date off on purpose, so the leftovers still work at the next party, or next October.

Then we adjust it. You get a free digital proof by email and nothing prints until you are happy. Want changes to the markings, the ears, the color? Tell us and we will send a new proof, and another if you need it.

Two sizes: dessert plates at 7 inches and dinner plates at 9 inches. Pick from twenty-four plate colors, from white and ecru through orange and claret to slate and black, and twenty-seven ink colors. Do not see your color? Tell us in special requests.

Early October is comfortable. Most Halloween parties fall on the weekend before the 31st, so work back from your party date rather than from Halloween itself. Rush Production isn't available for paper plates, so if the date is tight, choose a faster shipping option at checkout and email us at info@yourpartydetails.com.

The quantity you choose sets the total, and you will see every price in the quantity selector on this page. U.S. orders over $75 ship free. We will confirm turnaround with your proof so you can plan around your party.

I am extremely satisfied with this project. I am a perfectionist and often when you buy these types of products online, the quality is poor. The seller did a great job, got them to me quickly and was quick to respond. Love the product and I have already placed another order with the seller.

Thank you for all your support before my purchase and during my purchase. You helped me through the process quickly. You also sent me a sample for my approval before sending it to print. I was allowed to use my own print and I thank you for that. Thanks for a job well done.
