Plate size
Quantity

Which plate size?

Two sizes, and the difference is simply what ends up on them.

Dessert · 7 inches
Cake, appetizers, pizza, small hands
Dinner · 9 inches
A full plate of food, gravy included

Serving a meal and a dessert? That is two plates per guest, and they do not have to be the same size. A 9 inch plate under the main course and a 7 inch beside the cake reads as intentional rather than as running out.

One rule for every printed plate, ours included: serve on paper, reheat on ceramic.

See every size we print

How many plates do I need?

One per guest per course, and dessert counts as a course of its own.

Seated meal
1 per guest, per course
Buffet
1 per guest, plus 20% spare
Dessert or cake table
1 per guest
Children at the party
2 per child

We print from 8 to 800 plates. Add a fifth on top for the plate that gets bent, dropped, or picked up by the guest coming back for seconds.

Made for the food table

The detail that turns a table into a party

Plates with your own wording on them do more for a Halloween spread than any amount of orange bunting. They sit under the cake, the candy and the snacks, and they land in every photo of the table the same night.

  • Your line, not a supermarket slogan
  • The backdrop to every food photo
  • Matches your napkins in the same design

Made your way

Your wording, your colors

Change the big line, add a name or family name and the date, and pick the font. Then choose your plate color and your ink. Want the date left off so the extras still work next year? Just leave it blank.

  • Your own line, name and date
  • Twenty-four plate colors and twenty-seven ink colors
  • Leave the date off and reuse them next October

Product details

A deeply ribbed pumpkin wrapped in a black ribbon printed with stars, moons and small jack-o-lanterns, tied in a bow at the stem, inside a border of little pumpkins, black ribbon, leaves and golden moons. Your family name sits underneath in a flowing script, with the date.

Richly drawn and full color, so it carries a table on its own without any other decoration. The most grown-up of the orange designs. Made to sit next to the matching pumpkin ribbon napkins. Free US shipping over $75.

Frequently asked questions

You type your wording right here as you place your order, before you check out. After that we set it into the design and email you a free digital proof to approve before we print.

Yes. The line shown is a suggestion, not a fixed part of the design. Put your own line in, or leave the date blank to keep it off the plate. If your line is much longer than the one shown, tell us in special requests and we will size it to fit.

No. Leave the Date field empty and the date will not appear on your plates. Want to be certain, or already typed something? Write no date in Special requests and we will leave it off. You will see it either way on your free proof before anything prints, so nothing is final until you say so. Ordering a large quantity? Many hosts leave the date off on purpose, so the leftovers still work at the next party, or next October.

Two sizes: dessert plates at 7 inches and dinner plates at 9 inches. Pick from twenty-four plate colors, from white and ecru through orange and claret to slate and black, and twenty-seven ink colors. Do not see your color? Tell us in special requests.

Early October is comfortable. Most Halloween parties fall on the weekend before the 31st, so work back from your party date rather than from Halloween itself. Rush Production isn't available for paper plates, so if the date is tight, choose a faster shipping option at checkout and email us at info@yourpartydetails.com.

The quantity you choose sets the total, and you will see every price in the quantity selector on this page. U.S. orders over $75 ship free. We will confirm turnaround with your proof so you can plan around your party.

I am extremely satisfied with this project. I am a perfectionist and often when you buy these types of products online, the quality is poor. The seller did a great job, got them to me quickly and was quick to respond. Love the product and I have already placed another order with the seller.
