Personalized wedding napkins, printed with your names
Custom wedding napkins printed with your names, your wedding date, a monogram or a line that only the two of you find funny. They sit on the bar through cocktail hour, go out with the cake, and end up in more photographs than almost anything else you will order for the day.
Every design here can be printed in full color or pressed in metallic foil, on cocktail, dinner or guest towel size. Sage green, dusty blue, blush, black and gold, terracotta, ivory: tell us the palette from your invitation suite and we will match it rather than getting close.
One design, the whole reception
Most couples order cocktail napkins for the bar and dinner napkins for the seated meal, then add coasters, can coolers for the late-night bar and a bar sign for the signature drinks in the same artwork. It is the least expensive way to make a reception look styled rather than assembled.
Bringing the dog or the cat? Our pet wedding napkins are the most-loved corner of the shop, drawn from your own photograph.
How ordering works
Choose your size and quantity, tell us the names, date and wording, and we design it for you. A free digital proof comes by email before anything is printed, and changes at that stage cost nothing. U.S. orders over $75 ship free. If you have something in mind that you do not see here, send it to us and we will build it.
Wedding napkin questions
How many wedding napkins do I need?
Plan on 2 to 3 cocktail napkins per guest for the bar and dessert, and 1 to 2 dinner napkins per guest for a seated meal. For 120 guests that is roughly 240 to 360 cocktail napkins. Order up rather than down; leftovers get used at the first anniversary, running out at 10pm does not have a fix.
What size are cocktail napkins?
Cocktail napkins measure 4.8 x 4.8 inches folded, the standard beverage size a bar is set up for. Dinner napkins are 6.5 x 6.5 inches. Guest towels are 4.25 x 7.75 inches, made for the powder room or a hand-towel basket.
Which size should I choose for a wedding?
Cocktail for the bar and cocktail hour, because guests hold a drink and a napkin in one hand. Dinner for the seated meal, where the napkin goes under the cutlery. Guest towels for the restrooms, which is the detail people notice precisely because nobody expects it.
What does the metallic foil option do?
Foil is pressed into the napkin rather than printed, so the design catches the light and has a slight relief you can feel with a thumb. Gold, rose gold and silver are the most requested. Standard print gives you full color and unlimited detail; foil gives you shine in a single tone.
How should we fold them?
Fan cocktail napkins in a shallow stack or overlap them in a quarter circle along the bar so the printed corner shows. Dinner napkins look best folded once into a rectangle under the fork, or rolled around the cutlery. In a formal place setting the napkin sits to the left of the plate, under the forks.
When should I order?
Two to three months before the wedding is comfortable and leaves room for a second proof if the wording changes. Closer than that, order anyway and tell us the date; we will say honestly whether it can be done. The minimum is 50 napkins and you can go up to 1,000 on one design.
